Dynamic Tape is a highly elastic biomechanical tape built on a different technology to standard kinesiology tape. Instead of a light cotton-elastic strip, it uses a thicker, high-recoil fabric that behaves like a bungee cord, stretching in all directions and snapping back with strong recoil to help absorb and redistribute load through overworked or injured tissue.
Because it has no rigid end point, Dynamic Tape moves with the body through full, multi-planar ranges of motion rather than restricting them. This makes it a popular choice among physiotherapists and trainers working with dynamic sports and rehabilitation movements where standard kinesiology tape's lighter stretch and recoil may be less suitable.
