TurnAll Lateral Positioning System Overview
The Turn All™ System transforms a standard bed into an automated lateral turning patient support surface.
The Levabo Turn All™ lateral turning system has been developed to assist clinicians and carers in the acute, aged, community and home care settings.
It is designed to streamline the delivery of consistent and effective pressure care for vulnerable immobile patients, with pre-existing pressure injuries, as well as providing protection for those at risk of developing them. This is achieved by automating the process of gently and regularly repositioning these patients by rolling them into a 30° side-lying posture, on both sides of the body, for a set period of time.
Carers are given a choice of 3 cycle times for improved pressure care options.
- Automated lateral turning for immobile patients - Turn All Pump 3C offers the choice of three cycle times during which the patient is turned from 0° to 30° and back to 0° again, on both the left and right sides. There is a 5 minute rest inverval, in the supine position, between each turning phase.
- Comprehensive pressure relief to help prevent at risk patients from developing pressure areas and provide treatment for those with a pre-existing pressure injury
- Suitable for use on standard care beds with a removable mattress
- Significantly reduces workload on individual carer, while contributing to overall workforce efficiency in an acute or aged care facility
- Comfortable and doesn’t interrupt normal sleep pattern
- Side Support Function - Minimally raises the edge of the mattress, on the side the patient is being gradually and gently rolled towards, to provide support and reassurance to the patient while reducing the risk of shear.
