The DonJoy Cool IROM Universal is a hinged range-of-motion (ROM) knee brace designed to provide immobilisation and controlled range of motion following ligament surgery, including ACL, PCL, MCL and LCL procedures. It is designed to help protect the knee joint while allowing a clinician to progressively adjust the permitted range of movement during rehabilitation.
The brace features formable hinge bars that can be positioned to control range of motion in 10-degree increments, starting from a fully extended setting of minus 10 degrees. Four adjustable straps help secure the brace in place, with abbreviated foam padding positioned at key control areas for comfort during wear.
