Chrisofix Universal Resting Orthosis for Hand and Wrist
Product details
The Chrisofix Universal Resting Orthosis is a pre-shaped positioning splint designed to support and immobilise the wrist, hand and fingers. It is commonly used for conservative management of tenosynovitis and related inflammatory conditions, as well as for positioning after injury, surgery, or removal of a plaster cast.
The orthosis is built from a corrugated, perforated aluminium core wrapped in polyethylene foam and a soft polyamide velour and cotton lining. The ready-shaped design can be fine-tuned to the individual without removing the splint, and the hand section can be released independently of the forearm straps for hygiene or exercise breaks.
